DCGI gives nod to Sputnik V for emergency usage
NEW DELHI: India's drug regulator granted permission for the restricted emergency usage of the Russian Coronavirus vaccine 'Sputnik V' with conditions. It is the third vaccine to be available in the country for Corona patient. The Subject Expert Committee (SEC) on Coronavirus of the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) recommended the restricted emergency use of Sputnik V with certain conditions.
According to the reports, nearly 10 crore doses of the Sputnik V vaccine is likely to be imported for emergency use in the nation in the next to seven months. Click the video for more detailed information.
