Telangana CM KCR announces Rs 2,000, 25 kg rice for private school teachers
HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao reacted to the problems facing by private teachers in the state due to the closures of the schools amid Coronavirus cases. CM KCR on Thursday announced Rs 2,000 financial aid and 25 kg rice for private teachers every month till the schools reopen. CM KCR said that he took the decision on humanitarian grounds which benefit nearly 1.45 lakh teachers and other staff working in the schools.
He added that the rice will be provided through ration shops and the teachers should submit their bank account details to District Collector to get the financial aid. CM KCR asked the officials to prepare the guidelines.
