Quit TDP and joined TRS for constituency development: MLA Mecha
In an exclusive interview, MLA Mecha Nageswara Rao said on Thursday that he quit the TDP and joined the TRS for the development of Aswaraopeta Assembly constituency. To a question, he stated that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has assured him to provide funds for the constituency development.
“I was unable to take up developmental works in my constituency for the last two-and-a-half years as I was opposition MLA,” he mentioned. The MLA opined that there is no future for the TDP in Telangana and added that allocation of funds would be meagre for constituencies represented by non-TRS MLAs.
