EC issues notice to Udhayanidhi Stalin over statements against Arun Jaitley, Sushma, Venkaiah
Election Commission has given notice to DMK's Udhayanidhi Stalin for reportedly making derogatory remarks against former Union Ministers Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley. It is to be noted that daughters of both Arun Jaitley and Sushma Swaraj had objected strongly to the statement of the DMK leader.
Udhayanidhi in an election campaign in Tamil Nadu said that Arun Jaitley and Sushma Swaraj have died unable to bear the torture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also stated that Venkaiah Naidu was sidelined, who was supposed to become next PM of India.
