HC asks KCR govt why pubs, liquor shops, theatres not closed
The High Court heard arguments over Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed over spike of coronavirus cases in Telangana on Tuesday. The state government has submitted a report to the High Court about measures taken to stop the spread of the pandemic.
The High Court has expressed dissatisfaction over slow rate of conducting RT-PCR tests. The Advocate General informed the court that the Telangana government is increasing the number of RT-PCR tests every day. The High Court asked the state government as to why pubs, liquor shops and theatres were not closed.
