Maharashtra government imposes weekend lockdown, night curfew
PUNE: The Maharashtra government imposed night curfew and weekend lockdown across the state to curb the Coronavirus cases. State Chief Minister Uddhav Thackery chaired a Cabinet meeting on Sunday and decided to impose a night curfew in the state amid increasing Coronavirus positive cases. As per reports, the night curfew will be imposed from 8 PM to 7 AM from Monday onwards.
Only essential services will be allowed during the night curfew including industrial activities and vegetable markets following the guidelines. State Minister said that the government offices will occupy only 50 per cent employees and no theatre, playgrounds and gardens will be allowed. Religious activities should be conducted by following the rules
