Hyderabad ready to host IPL matches
It is good news for Hyderabad people as the city was given the nod as standby venue for the Indian Premier League. BCCI has named Hyderabad as the standby venue because ten groundsmen in Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai tested Covid-19 positive. In Maharashtra also, corona cases are on the rise.
There is a possibility that lockdown may be imposed in Maharashtra. If this happens, all the matches to be conducted in Mumbai will be shifted to standby venues. According to the reports, if all the Mumbai matches will be canceled, the BCCI will shift the matches to Hyderabad.
