Big jolt: Jyothula Nehru resigns as TDP state vice president
AMARAVATI:A big shock to Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh after former Jaggampeta MLA Jyothula Nehru tendered his resignation to TDP State vice-president protest. TDP leader Jyothula Nehru took the decision to express his dismay against the party supremo's decision to boycott the MPTC / ZPTC elections. Speaking to the media, Jyothula Nehru said that in a recently conducted meeting he made it clear that TDP should contest in the Parishad elections.
He added that boycotting the elections will weaken the party in the state and therefore he resigned as TDP vice-president. He further added that he will not quit the party. It is known that TDP boycotting the Parishad elections.
