CM Jagan lays foundation for 1.5-km retaining wall along Krishna river in Vijayawada
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday laid the foundation stone for 1.5-km long retaining wall along Krishna river at Krishna Lanka in Vijayawada. The wall will prevent inundation of houses located on the banks of Krishna river. The AP government has sanctioned Rs 125 crore for the construction of retaining wall. Officials have explained the project details to the CM. Earlier, Endowments Minister Vellampalli Srinivasa Rao and YSRCP Vijayawada East Assembly constituency in-charge Devineni Avinash have introduced newly elected party corporators to Jagan Reddy. Ruling party MLAs and officials were present.
