Rs 17 lakh fines collected for not wearing masks in AP

AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh police implementing strict rules in the state to contain the Coronavirus from spreading. To keep a check to the violators, the police imposing fines to the people who are not wearing the masks which is mandatory to prevent the virus from spreading. According to the reports, the police collected Rs 17 lakhs in one day from the public for not wearing the masks. It is learnt that the police imposed fines to 19,000 pedestrians.
