Will cut electricity to 16 states if govt doesn’t consider demands: Rakesh Tikait
NEW DELHI: Farmers' staging a protest against the Centre's decision of introducing new farm laws. Farmers' leader Rakesh Tikait threatened to cut the electricity to 16 states if the Centre doesn't fulfil the farmers' demands. He made the comments while interacting with the media in Bharatpur on Saturday. Tikait added that there is no government in the Centre while traders are ruling the country.
He further added that they have sold out all government institutes and people need to throw them out of the government. The Central government is planning to sell the land of the farmers. It is known that farmers are staging a protest against the Centre from November.
