CID speeds up investigation in Amaravati assigned lands case
The CID officials speeded up investigation in Amaravati assigned lands case after the High Court gave four-week stay for former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and former minister P Narayana. Five teams formed by the CID have visited villages falling under Amaravati capital region and enquired with Dalit farmers as to why they sold their farm lands to others.
On Friday, the CID sleuths questioned a few farmers in the office. Some more farmers are appearing for probe on Saturday. The CID registered a case based on the evidence provided by YSRCP MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy.
