Visakha Steel Plant protest reaches Rajya Sabha; Undavalli meets Ganta; KTR to join soon
The privatization issue of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant has reached national politics. Its protest against the center has reached the Rajya Sabha. YSRCP MPs have launched a protest in the Rajya Sabha objecting center's move on Visakha's Steel Plant. The YSRCP Members of Parliament have walked out of the Rajya Sabha to show their protest on Visakha Steel Plant. On the other hand, a non-political JAC has been initiated to protect the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant's existence. Former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar, former IPS officer JD Laxminarayana and former Minister Ganta Srinivas Rao have discussed in Anakapali the prospects of forming a non-political JAC. These leaders have discussed how to take the protest ahead and make it effective.
JD Laxminarayana has called for everyone to come together to fight against the center's move of privatization.
Former Minister Ganta Srinivas Rao said very soon Telangana Minister KTR would join the protest against the center. After the Assembly session, he said Minister KTR would extend support to the Visakha people's cause by visiting Steel city along with Telangana MPs and some Ministers taking permission from CM KCR.
