Half-day schools in Andhra Pradesh from April 1
Minister for Education Adimulupu Suresh made an announcement on Monday that half-day schools in the state will start from April due to rise in coronavirus cases and in view of the early summer heat. The schools will work for half day from 7:45 am to 12:30 noon.
Half-day timings will be applicable to classes from 1 to 10. In a statement, the minister directed all schools to follow covid norms like ensuring children were masks, carry sanitisers, and maintaining social distance while conducting half-day schools. There is no change in the timings for the college students.
