KTR extends support to steel plant employees’ protest, says ready to sit in dharna in Vizag
Minister for IT and Municipal Administration K Taraka Rama Rao has extended support to the employees, who are protesting against the Central government’s decision to disinvest 100 per cent stake in the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP). “If needed, we are ready to participate in dharna in Visakhapatnam with the permission from Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao,” he mentioned. The minister stated that the BJP-led Modi government can also sell BHEL and Singareni Collieries in Telangana if it can privatise the VSP. He also urged the people of AP to support Telangana in crisis.
