Andhra Pradesh: Speeding lorry rams into tractor, 3 died, 20 injured severely

WEST GODAVARI: In a tragic incident, three people died and 20 injured severely after a lorry rammed into a parked tractor. The shocking incident took place at Srinivasapuramjunction, Jangaredddygudem, West Godavari district. According to the sources, a speeding lorry rammed into a tractor carrying more than 20 people which was parked on the roadside.

It is learnt that the villagers of Chikkavaram village, Gangavaram Mandal, Krishna district opted for tractors to visit Gubbala Mangamma temple and one of the tractors stopped on a roadside for a tea break. During that time, a lorry rammed into the tractor in which 3 people died on the spot and injured persons were shifted to Eluru hospital. Police filed a case and an investigation is underway.
