BJP's Suvendu Adhikari fields against Mamata Banerjee from Nandigram
WEST BENGAL: Bharatiya Janata Party moving pawns strategically to clinch the victory in the West Bengal Assembly elections and on Saturday it released the first list with 57 nominees names for the 60 seats for the first phase of elections. It is known that the elections in West Bengal will be held in eight phases. The elections will begin on March 27.
BJP announced that the party is going to pit Suvendu Adhikari against West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee from the Nandigram constituency which falls under the Purba Medinipur district. Suvendu Adhikari joined BJP last year from Trinamool Congress.
