Andhra Pradesh bandh today against Vizag Steel privatisation

All major political parties except BJP are extended their solidarity towards the state bandh called by the Vizag Steel Plant Parirakshana Committee against the Central government's move on privatising the Steel Plant. Ruling YRSCP, TDP, Jana Sena, left parties and several organisations taking part in the bandh and requesting everyone to make it a success.

AP Transport Minister Perni Nani said that the services of APSRTC suspended till 1 PM today and the employees will sport a black badge while resuming their services which express their protest against the Centre's decision on privatisation of the Steel Plant. Vizag Steel Plant Parirakshana Committee pleaded everyone in the state to take part in the state band to protect the Steel Plant from privatisation.
