Nine-year-old Andhra Pradesh girl climbs Mount Kilimanjaro

A nine-year-old girl conquered Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, which is the highest peak in the African continent. She achieved the record accompanied by her father and guide. The nine-year-old girl Kadapala Rithivika, resident of Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh climbed to Gilman's point at 5,681 meters above sea level. She is a class 2 student of St Vincent de Paul English Medium school, Anantapur. Rithivika's father is a cricket coach and sports coordinator.
She was trained at Rock Climbing school at Bhongir, Telangana and level 2 training at Ladhak. She recorded as the first one in Asia who climbed the mountain at the age of nine.
