Marvel in making Piyush Goyal updates on 'World's Highest' Rail Bridge
Union Railways Minister Piyush Goyal has given updates on the world's highest rail bridge coming up in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. It is a 476 meter-long steel arch railway bridge built over the Chenab River in Jammu and Kashmir. Piyush Goyal has described the infrastructure making as a marvel. He has shared the picture of the steel arch reaching completion. Interestingly, this rail bridge stands 35 meters taller than the iconic Eiffel Tower in Paris.
Union Minister has tweeted, 'Infrastructural Marvel in Making: Indian Railways is well on track to achieve another engineering milestone with the steel arch of Chenab bridge reaching closure position. It is all set to be the world's highest Railway bridge'.
