Minister Kannababu flays Amaravati farmers

Agriculture Minister Kannababu drew a comparison between farmers of East Godavari district and Amaravati. He stated that farmers have fought 15 years for their lands which were acquired for the Kakinada SEZ. The Cabinet took a decision to return 2,180 acres to farmers as promised by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy during his padayatra as an opposition leader.
Kannababu mentioned that real farmers develop an attachment with their lands. In contract, farmers of Amaravati are demanding the AP government to take up commercial development with lakhs of crores in their lands, he flayed.
