Modi govt cancelled ITIR project sanctioned to Telangana by UPA regime: KTR
Minister for IT and Municipal Administration K Taraka Rama Rao came down heavily on Modi government for cancelling the Information Technology Investment Region (ITIR) project sanctioned to the Telangana state by the Congress-led UPA government.
Addressing the TRS leaders at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad on Wednesday, Rama Rao said that the BJP has no right to ask votes in the ensuing MLC elections for scrapping the ITIR project. He mentioned that the TRS government has filled 1.33 lakh government jobs in which 36,000 were recruited by the TSPSC. “4,000 jobs are yet to be filled by the TSPSC because of petitions filed in the High Court,” he added.
