A top portion of Telangana Assembly building collapsed

A top portion of old Telangana Assembly building collapsed on Tuesday with a loud noise. The collapsed part in located on top of the office belonging to Government Whip Rega Kantha Rao. However, no one was injured in the incident as the debris fell in the garden.
The staff working inside the building came out to know as to what happened. The mishap took place when the Telangana government is planning to take up maintenance of the ancient building constructed by sixth Nizam. Even, the KCR government wanted to shift the Legislative Council to the old building.
