Will ask SEC to conduct ZPTC, MPTC polls much early, CM Jagan says in Cabinet meet

In the Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy informed ministers that the AP government is ready to hold ZPTC, MPTC elections. A discussion was held on ensuing elections to municipalities, municipal corporations, Nagara Panchayats, ZPTCs and MPTCs.
Ministers have congratulated the CM for winning more than 80 per cent panchayats in the local elections. Jagan told ministers that the state government will ask the State Election Commission to conduct ZPTC and MPTC elections much early as there is a possibility of rise in coronavirus cases in the state.
