Regional Ring Road in Hyderabad approved by the central government- G Kishan Reddy

Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy said the central government has given the Regional Ring Road(RRR) principle approval in Hyderabad. Earlier, G Kishan Reddy wrote a letter to the Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari seeking approval of RRR for the people of Hyderabad in the line of Outer Ring Road(ORR).

Addressing a Press Meet in New Delhi after meeting with Minister Gadkari, Minister G Kishan Reddy has expressed happiness about the approval of RRR, saying that it will help the development of Telangana in a more significant way. He said the new RRR would come up from a distance of 30 to 50 kms in the radius of ORR. G Kishan Reddy said the RRR would be built with Rs 7561 crores. This road will reduce the pollution in Hyderabad, the Minister said.
