Congress government loses trust vote in Puducherry
A big set back to the Congress party as Puducherry CM Velu Narayanasamy-led government lost the majority in the assembly today and submitted his resignation to recently appointed Lieutenant Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan. He alleged that the opposition party is trying to topple the government which was elected by the people. He said that the people of Puducherry has trust in the Congress party.
He alleged that the former LT Kiran Bedi, Central government secretly colluded with the opposition party to topple the government. CM Narayanasamy and party MLAs walked out of the assembly.
