Satish Dhawan nanosatellite to carry Bhagavad Gita, PM Modi's photo to space
For the first time in the history of Indian space, a nanosatellite will carry a copy of the holy script Bhagavad Gita, photograph of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to space by the end of this month. According to the reports, the Satish Dhawan Satellite will also carry three payloads, which will be put into orbit by the polar satellite launch vehicle.
The space agency's decision to send a copy of the Bhagavad Gita to space was taken following other space missions carrying holy books such as the Bible. It has also added the prime minister's name and photograph on the top panel with the words Atmanirbhar mission.
