YSRCP to organise 22-km padayatra on Feb 20 in Vizag opposing steel plant privatisation

The YSRCP will be organising the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant Parirakshana Porata Yatra on February 20 in Visakhapatnam opposing privatisation of steel plant. Disclosing details to the media on Tuesday, YSRCP Rajya Sabha member Vijaya Sai Reddy said that 22-km padayatra will start from the Gandhi statue located at the GVMC office and pass through four assembly constituencies and culminate at steel plant gate. The MP stated that he will fix an appointment with Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for leaders of the 13 trade unions belonging to steel plant. He further said that the YSRCP will seek an appointment with the PM for MPs of Left and other parties to meet him on steel plant issue.
