The Central government has decided to privatize the steel plant in Visakhapatnam. Left parties and employees belonging to the Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) came out in large numbers to protest against PM Modi's decision to privatize the Visakha Steel Plant. CPI Ramakrishna has severely condemned the conclusion of the Modi government over the Visakha Steel Plant. He took a strong dig at AP BJP State President Somu Veerraju, asking how they will face Tirupati people in the wake of Tirupati By-polls after these political developments.

CPI Ramakrishna has asked Somu Veerraju to resign and condemn the central government over the decision.

Reacting to it, Somu Veerraju has made satirical comments at CPI Ramakrishna and reminded how the election commission took the initiative against CPI.
