Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman produced the Union Budget 2021 in the Parliament and announced Rs 35,000 to Coronavirus vaccination. Allotted Rs 64,180 crore to PM Aatma Nirbhara Swasth Yojana and Rs 64,180 crore to the health sector. The budget allocated Rs 1,10,055 for railways development. The budget also provided an exemption for above 75 years from filing income tax. Foreign investment in the insurance sector increased to 74 per cent from 49 per cent. Rs 3.05 lakh allocated for power sector. Rs 1.72 lakhs allotted for MSP for farmers.

Funds allotted to form Central University in Ladhak. Gold and Silver gold prices will be increased and solar equipment cost will be decreased. From the budget, the cost of mobile phones, power banks, chargers, imported raw silk, leather items, solar inverters, tunnel boring machines and gemstones, etc will become costlier. Iron, Steel, insurance, copper items, shoes, agriculture equipment, electrical equipment will become cheaper.
