Two TDP leaders, Priest arrest for vandalising Subrahmanyeswara Swamy idol
Rajahmundry: Special Investigating Team (SIT) police arrested two Telugu Desam party leaders and a temple priest in Lord Subrahmanyeswara Swamy idol vandalised incident in Rajahmundry. According to the reports, two TDP leaders offered Rs 30,000 bribe for the temple priest and forced him to cut the hands of Surbahmany Swamy idol in Sri Sankatahara Vara Siddhi Vinayaka Swamy temple in Rajahmundry.
According to the reports, the temple priest Marala Venkata Muralikrishna filed a complaint at the police station citing some miscreants vandalised the idol. It is said that they admitted the crime during the investigation and they agreed that they want to create unrest in the society, to collect money from the devotees for installing new idol.
