Local polls: Ambati demands SEC Nimmagadda to take action against Chandrababu for releasing manifesto
YSRCP MLA Ambati Rambabu demanded State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar to take action against TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu for releasing manifest to panchayat elections. Speaking to the media, Ambati said Chandrababu has violated the Indian constitution by releasing the TDP manifesto when panchayat elections are held on a non-party basis.
The TDP leader asked Nimmagadda to consider his words in the press meet as an official complaint of the YSRCP. He criticised Chandrababu for opposing unanimous panchayat elections. The MLA faulted Ramesh for discouraging unanimous polls to gram panchayats.
