AP BJP president Somu Veerraju alleged on Wednesday that the YSRCP leaders are using officials for exerting pressure on candidates for unanimity in gram panchayat elections. Speaking to the media, he asked Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to hold a video conference with ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, and YSRCP leaders and direct them not to resort to coercive tactics for threatening probable candidates loyal to opposition parties. The BJP leader demanded the State Election Commission to make an announcement of accepting nomination papers online on or before January 29.
