* Supreme Court gave a green signal to conduct local body elections in Andhra Pradesh and the government said ready to conduct the election as per SEC schedule.
* Supreme Court said they won't interfere in the ego war and no need of asking to postpone the election.
* Opposition party leaders expressed happiness after the Supreme Court's verdict and said it should be a lesson to the government.
* SEC changed few changes to the election schedule and the first phase of nominations will receive from 29th of this month.
* COVID vaccination for doctors and health staff in private hospitals started from today. Doctors asked not to believe the rumours on the vaccine.
* Union Minister Kishan Reddy wrote a letter to CM KCR asking to allot a place for National Centre for Disease Control.
* Farmers getting ready to conduct tractor rally tomorrow in New Delhi and said they will hold a padayatra to Parliament on 1st February.
* Tension escalated between China and India borders.
