25-01-2021 Mon 14:33

AP Joint Action Committee (JAC) chairman and AP Non-Gazetted Officers’ Association (APNGOA) president N Chandrasekhar Reddy said on Monday that government employees are not ready to discharge duties in panchayat elections. He came down heavily on State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar for not taking issues of government employees into consideration before issuing the notification.
To a question, Chandrasekhar mentioned that government employees are ready to go on strike if the SEC fails to withdraw notification irrespective of the outcome of the Supreme Court judgement. He faulted Ramesh for taking the unilateral decision on the panchayat elections without taking the AP government into confidence.
