WB CM Mamata demands four capitals for India on rotation basis
Addressing an event organised to celebrate the 124th birth anniversary of the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee demanded four capitals for India on a rotation basis. She opined that parliament sessions must be held in different cities of India including the south. Mamata faulted the Centre for announcing January 23 as Parakram Diwas without consulting her.
The CM made it clear that India can’t have a system of one nation and one political party. She criticised the Modi government for using Netaji to win votes in ensuing assembly elections in West Bengal.
