Actor turned politician Kamal Haasan said pepper spray would not stop r*pe. In an interview with Navika Kumar, group editor, politics of Times Now, the president of Makkal Needhi Malam has shared about the agenda of his party and his debut in politics. Kamal Haasan said his party is working hard for Tamil Nadu state elections which will take place in 2021.
Kamal Haasan, while reacting to a question of his recent comments on women and dignity, MNM Chief said he was misunderstood. The actor turned politician has further stated that it is not proud that one should provide our women with pepper sprays. Kamal Haasan has clarified that he does not mean that pepper spray will not stop rape. It has nothing to do with how a woman dresses, Kamal Haasan said. He has also justified his comments on Tamil Nadu's crime rate.
