AP SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh Kuamr to meet Governor today

VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar is likely to meet state governor Biswabhushan Harichandan today. According to the reports, SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar will meet the governor today at 11:30 am in the Rajbhavan. It is said that Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar will explain about the High Court verdict on conducting local body polls in the state to the governor.

It is known that the state High Court ordered the SEC to conduct the local body elections in February peacefully following COVID-19 rules. Challenging the verdict, the AP government filed a petition in the Supreme Court.
