First time in history, Union Budget 2021 to be paperless

For the first time in Indian history, the union budget 2021 will be presented paperless in the wake of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. It will be the first time in the history of independent India that the Union Budget papers will not be printed at the finance ministry house press.

Earlier, the budget preparation requires several employees to work together for nearly two weeks until the papers are printed. After this, the papers are sealed and sent on the day of the budget. This time, the soft copies are made ready.
