High Voltage: Chandrababu vs Avanthi Srinivas
The 400-year-old Ramateertham temple desecration incident has become the subject of dispute between the opposition TDP and the ruling YSRCP. TDP President Chandrababu Naidu has breathed fire at the ruling government for filing cases against him and his party cadre concerning the Ramateertham temple incident. In a press meet, the former Chief Minister faulted the ruling government for allowing Rajya Sabha member V. Vijaya Sai Reddy to visit Ramateertham on the same day when he was also scheduled to visit the temple. TDP President has alleged that he was obstructed there for no fault of him. He wanted that case should be filed against Vijayasai Reddy instead of the TDP cadre. TDP President has fired the ruling government for arresting his party leaders.
Reacting to it, AP Minister Avanthi Srinivas has alleged that the opposition targeted 63-year-old Rajya Sabha member Vijayasai Reddy. He has further questioned the TDP cadre for hurling stones and attacking at YSRCP MP by alleged means.
