Kamal Haasan undergoes leg surgery in Chennai; daughters release joint statement

Actor turned politician Kamal Haasan underwent a leg surgery at one of the Chennai hospitals. The two daughters Shruti Haasan and Akshara Haasan said in a statement on Tuesday that he is doing fine and added that he might have to stay for four to five days in the hospital. They further said that the doctors and the hospital management have been taking good care of their father.

During the Bigg Boss Tamil 4 show, the actor said he would undergo a follow-up surgery on his leg.

According to the reports, Makkal Needhi Maiam chief will be out any political or film action for two weeks.
