High Court shock to AP govt over AP capital Amaravati lands inside trading
AMARAVATI: In a big jolt to the Andhra Pradesh government, the High Court of Andhra Pradesh dismissed the cases filed by CID officials alleging insider trading took place Amaravati capital lands. It is known that CID officials registered cases against Kilaru Rajesh and few others alleging that they have bought land in the capital region in advance.
CID filed cases after receiving a complaint from a person in the capital. It is learnt that Kilaru Rajesh filed a quash petition in the High Court alleging none of the land sellers filed a complaint and the state government is taking revenge against them. On Tuesday, after hearing the quash petition filed by Kilaru Rajesh, the High Court asserted that no insider trading took place and added that no IPC sections will be applicable to it.
