Indian Idol contestant Shanmukha Priya said her hard work made her find a place in the show's top fifteen. In an exclusive interview with the TV9 channel, the Telugu contestant said she is feeling great. Shanmukha Priya, who began her singing career with 'Little Champs' at an early age, said her parents inspire her from the music industry.

She said her dream to appear in the Indian Idol show has been fulfilled by her and her parents. She has revealed how she followed the late legendary singer Kishore Kumar's songs, particularly his 'Yodeling.' She has shared her association with judges and co-singers of the show. Shanmukha Priya has revealed her association with another Telugu contestant Sireesha. She has also shared her association with the late legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam.

Finally, her mother has also joined the interview virtually and expressed happiness to see her daughter performing well on the Indian Idol stage.
