BJP leader Somu Veerraju writes letter to DGP Gautam Sawang
AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party chief Somu Veerraju reacted to DGP Gautam Sawang's remarks that TDP and BJP activists are behind the attacks on Hindu temples in the state. BJP leader Somu Veerraju wrote a letter to Gautham Sawang seeking clarity over his remarks which can mislead the people and he asked to show the proper proofs which strengthen his allegations over BJP. He further added that various news channels are telecasting about BJP after his statements.
Somu Veerraju asserted that no BJP activists were involved in the attacks over Hindu temples in the state. He said that vandalising the idols in Hindu temples and sharing posts on social media is completely different. He criticised that police failed to prevent attacks on Hindu temples in the state. Somu Veerraju mentioned that being in a particular position it is not right to make statements supporting a particular party and to make comments on other parties. He asked DGP to give clarity over his remarks and said that he will take legal actions if he fails to give clarity over his remarks.
