Sanitation worker Pushpa Kumari gets first covid shot in AP
Sanitation worker B Pushpa Kumari is the first woman to get the covid vaccine in Andhra Pradesh. The vaccine was administered to her on Saturday in the presence of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at the Government General Hospital in Vijayawada. The CM personally observed the administration of the vaccine to Pushpa Kumari and nurse Nagajyothi.
Officials have explained to the CM about the vaccination process in 332 centres all over the state. Later, Jagan Reddy has launched a poster explaining the need for vaccination. Health Minister Alla Nani, Chief Secretary Aditya Nath Das, and others were present.
