Dr Reddy’s Laboratories gets DCGI approval for Sputnik V phase III trials
HYDERABAD: Dr Reddy's Laboratories received approval from the Drugs Control General of India (DCGI) to conduct Russia's corona vaccine Sputnik V clinical trails. Dr Reddy's Lab will conduct clinical trials on 1500 volunteers across the nation. Dr Reddy's collaborated with the Russian Direct Investment Fund and distribute 100 million doses in India.
GV Prasad, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories co-chairman and managing director said that the clinical trials will start within this month and try to complete the process in this month. It is known that Sputnik V developed by Gamaleya National Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology and approved by the Russian Health ministry.
