17 killed in road accident as minibus collides with truck in Karnataka
KARNATAKA: In a tragic incident, 17 women doctors were killed and several injured after a minibus collided with a truck. The incident took place on the Hubbali-Dharwad bypass road in Karnataka. According to the reports, the deceased working at JJM college in Davangere. It is said that all of them studied at St Paul's Convent in Davangere and were going to Goa trip to celebrate get together. As per reports, the minibus carrying the lady doctors collided with a truck coming in the opposite direction at 7 AM.
PM Modi expressed condolences to the deceased family members and he tweeted as "Saddened by the loss of lives due to a road accident in Karnataka’s Dharwad district. In this sad hour, my thoughts are with the bereaved families. I pray for a quick recovery of those injured: PM
