Ninth round of talks between farmers & Centre concludes with no outcome
Representatives of farmers, who have been camping at several Delhi border points, demanding a complete repeal of the three farm laws and legal guarantee of minimum support price (MSP), for close to two months have reached Vigyan Bhavan from Singhu (Delhi-Haryana) border to hold a ninth round of talks with the Central government.
However, the meeting between the farmers and officials has concluded without any outcome. The next round of talks is scheduled for January 19. Even the Supreme Court-appointed panel on farm laws is likely to hold its first meeting on January 19.
