Bird flu scare: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal orders to reopen poultry market
NEW DELHI: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal issued orders to reopen the poultry market as the samples were taken from the Ghazipur market has tested negative for the bird flu. CM Kejriwal took to Twitter and tweeted as "Samples taken from poultry markets have tested negative with respect to Bird Flu.
Have directed to open the poultry market & withdraw the orders to restrict trade & import of chicken stocks." Earlier, CM Kejriwal issued orders to shut down the Ghazipur poultry market for 10 days after few birds were found dead in New Delhi. He stated that the market is hygienic.
