Bhuma Akhila Priya remanded to judicial custody for 14 days

Former minister and TDP leader Bhuma Akhila Priya, who was the main accused in the Bowenpally kidnap case, was sent to 14-day judicial custody on Thursday. Earlier, the Bowenpally police took her to Gandhi Hospital for medical tests and produced her before the magistrate at West Marredpally in Hyderabad as her police custody ended. The cops presented the confessional statement of the accused before the magistrate.
Akhila Priya was straight away taken to the Chanchalguda jail from West Marredpally. Meanwhile, special police teams are searching for Bhargav Ram and Guntur Srinu, key accused in the kidnap case.
